Our ability to support the Seymour Library has expanded three fold in just the last few years thanks to generous donations and membership dues from committed Library patrons and community members like you. Your support sustains hundreds of programs that serve thousands of learners every year.

The Friends of the Seymour Library is an all-volunteer organization, and we are so grateful for the dozens of generous Friends who give their free time to make our Fundraisers a huge success. If you’ve been to the Seymour Library within the last few years, you’ve probably noticed the Book Nook. For a number of reasons, libraries cannot take every book that is donated to them, and if they can’t find another home for the books they will usually have to be thrown away. As a group composed exclusively of book lovers, the Friends worked with the Library to take on the excess donations and create the Book Nook: a space within the Library where, for a small donation, you can give these used books a new home to be loved and support the work of the Friends. New book donations come in regularly, and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for special sales!
